Simon Cowell demands an extra £3 million for X Factor 2010
Simon Cowell has reportedly informed ITV that he needs an extra £3 million for this year’s series of X Factor.
In order to make the live shows bigger and better, The Mirror reports that Cowell is demanding £300,000 extra for each of the ten live rounds.
Simon is meeting up with ITV bosses in LA next week and it is thought that he will explain the new format he has planned. In 2010 he will be asking for £2 million for each televised show, as opposed to the £1.7 million he was allocated last year.
A source told The Mirror: “Simon has said he will sign but the details must be right. It’s about making the show better each year.”
