It seems that if you want to be a real, bona fide celebrity, you really need to have the right car and we know already that Simon Cowell has quite the collection.

However, the X Factor boss has apparently added yet another vehicle to the garage full of classics he has at his LA mansion, as this week he was spotted driving around Hollywood in a cool little Ford Roadster.

The car was first manufactured in the 1930s and when it was delivered to Cowell’s American home this week insiders say the barefoot star spent a few minutes just staring at it’s two tone colour scheme, before taking it for a spin.

He looked quite the suave millionaire, as he cruised around the streets of Beverly Hills, as you can see in The People’s exclusive picture. The music mogul also owns a Porsche 918 Spyder hybrid, a Bugatti and a Rolls-Royce.

Meanwhile, it seems that while The Voice coach Will.i.am loves his cars also, he may not maintain them as well as Cowell.

Insiders say the Black Eyed Peas star was out for a drive in LA on Thursday night, when he was stopped by police and had his Back To The Future-style DeLorean car impounded, because he was using it without number plates.

TMZ also reports that police found some issues with Will’s registration documents, which will have to be rectified before he is allowed to take the vehicle back.

We wonder if the star tweeted while being warned by the cops?
