Simon Cowell: ‘I’LL NEVER BE A POP MOGUL PENSIONER’
Simon Cowell has vowed to quit American Idol as soon as his Five year contract runs out.
He said “I don’t want to be a pensioner with a hearing aid and a walking stick, telling the person, ‘Come closer, I can’t hear you!’
“That wouldn’t be great.”
I suspect though it’s more to do with him having so many other shows taking up his time. As well as American idol and the X factor Simon is also producing two new reality TV shows in the next few years. One magic show and one celebrity duet show. he is going to be one busy millionare”

I dont think SIMON hears very well now, especially on X FACTOR 2006. All he can do is bully and make insulting comments to acts and colleagues alike,hardly an endearing feature,far from just quitting American idol perhaps he should start here and go from X FACTOR as his head is way too big for it and he now even lacks common respect and decency. GO SIMON you WONT be missed at all.ROD,Newcastle

Simon loves to be hated, you cant hate someone you dont care about.
I think Simon gets too personal sometimes but he does know what he is talking about regarding music and singers.
Get rid of Louis, he is so boring.

Actually Cathy I’d have agreed with you up to last years x factor, HE now doesnt seem to know the best of things now, music changes, HE KNEW ASHLEY had talent but he MADE him do songs totally unsuited to him which not only ruined his chances but totally covered Ashleys talents,he ruined the lads chances, SIMON hasnt got his finger on the pulse as in the past, He is an awful mentor this year and sent his best acts home from boot camp.Now he’s descended into professional bullying, insulting not only an act but their families and countrymaen alike, he was shocking to LUOUIS on Saturday,and when he said LOUIS you HAVE TO KEEP ASHLEY IN, then had I been Louis AND BEEN UNDECIDED IN ANY WAY THEN THAT COMMENT WOULD HAVE HAD ME SEND Ashley HOME.Its not nice, its not entertaining and SIMON has shown last week how bad mannered and rediculous he really is. He runs that show, he should be an example to ALL connected with it not use it to insult not only those taking part but innocent viewers and even people NOT watching.Its time he satisfied his misguidedly over inflated ego on something else and I stress something NOT SOMEONE.ROD,Newcastle
