Simon Cowell, the man behind shows such as the X Factor and American Idol has been revealed as being the top earning showbiz star in Britains.

Simon rakes in £19.5 million a year for hosting American Idol alone, which works out at more than £400,000 an hour.

Cowell recently bought Jennifer Lopez’s Beverly Hills mansion for £6million and is spending £3million rebuilding it. He also owns a £6million house in Holland Park, West London, two Range Rovers, two Rolls-Royces, a Jaguar, a Porsche and a Ferrari Spider 430.

All that money just for being nasty and ignorant….hey I could do that!
