Simon Cowell is doing a bit of juggling so he can star in both X Factors!
Simon Cowell is reportedly trying to move the dates of both his X Factor series’ this year, so that he can sit on the judging panel of both.
The music mogul left the British version of the show last year, taking Cheryl Cole with him to kick start a new American version. He soon dumped her though and left the ITV show in the capable hands of Take That star Gary Barlow.
However, ratings fell and the show’s popularity waned without him and this year, Simon is said to be hoping to bring things back to greatness, by overseeing everything himself.
Cowell recently admitted that the batch of contestants who mad it through to the live ITV finals in 2011 were ‘sub-standard’ and he hasn’t been a great vocal supporter of winners Little Mix.
Speaking to The Sun, the TV boss confessed that he worries no one else will manage the series as well as him and is keen to try and be part of both series in 2012.
He explained:
“I’ll see if we can move the dates so I can do both because I do miss it and they are not as good as me.”
Cowell also claimed that they will need to find an excellent bunch of stars this year, as Britain’s Got Talent has upped it’s game and found some fabulous pop singers this year.
Simon needs to bring some star power back to the UK panel, as yesterday Cheryl Cole herself tweeted her fans and insisted that she will never go backwards and return to the show.
Kelly Rowland is said to have already been sacked, though Louis Walsh will most likely be back as usual.
