Simon Cowell has proved that he isn’t as callous as we might think by admitting that he isn’t yet over his ex girlfriend Terri Seymour.

Simon recently appeared on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno in the US when he said: “I’m not so much single, I think that I am in mourning – I think that’s more respectable.”

Idol host Ryan Seacrest, teased him saying: “How could you possibly love anyone? You’re in love with yourself so much.”

But Simon replied: “I have to give it two or three years.”

Awwww I think I really might be in love with him now.
