Simon Cowell May Bring X Factor To America

Simon Cowell has admitted that he is considering launching an American version of The X Factor.
According to The Sun, Cowell wants to launch a new music show in the US after becoming bored with American idol year in, year out.
“The idea that for the next five years, I’d be doing exactly what I’ve been doing for the past five years… the thought is just too depressing,” he is quoted as saying.
“We have to bring in another music show. In the UK, there is more than one type running throughout the year and I think the same thing could happen [in the US], because for the fall, nothing really happens.
“It’s something we’ve been thinking about. Maybe it will be X Factor. Maybe it will be something new.”

i bet the x factor will be axed in uk. uk might get anew music reality show.
Well As America is very much like the X factor I think Simon should take a version of BGT over instead.
With a performance prize of performing to the President of America and the equivalent of 100k in dollars.
I think the X factor is beginning to bore Britains to and I personally feel its days are numbered.
A few one off shows would be good in Britain and America “So you want to be a star?” Could be a good idea with contestants vying to do a single 20 minute show of their own. With workshops for training and workshops for auditions etc you could run in two hours of tv time 6 contestants each week with the top person each week going through to a mega grand slam concert after say 8 weeks.
