Simon Cowell has revealed that he is expecting a boy to win this years X Factor series.

He told The Mirror: “It’s all about the boys. They are strong this year and it doesn’t seem like it’ll be another year where the girls take the crown at the end of the series.”

That must be why he has chosen male singers for his X Factor final group.

Cowell also got in a sly dig to Louis Walsh who will be mentoring the groups, saying:

“I must admit I wouldn’t want to be looking after the groups. In my opinion it’s not a strong year for them.”

He MUST be talking about John and Edward!
