Simon Cowell has reportedly sacked Yvie Burnett from The X Factor.

Yvie joined the show in Series 2 as Louis Walsh’s vocal coach and coached Shayne Ward to success as the series winner. In 2005, as well as working with Louis with groups, Yvie also coached Simon Cowell and Sharon Osbourne’s acts. Since then she has worked with all the show’s finalists as well as assisting both Britain’s and America’s Got Talent vocalists.

Insiders say that just a few days ago, Yvie discovered that she was not needed for this year’s series of Cowell’s ITV juggernaut and a friend told The Daily Record:

“It was a massive shock but she’s OK now.

“Simon is keeping her on for Britain’s Got Talent and America’s Got Talent.”

Her pal added: “It’s a bitter blow to find out just before this year’s contestants are chosen.

“But Yvie is one of the best vocal coaches in the world.

“There is more work in the pipeline in America.”
