Simon Cowell has admitted that he loves Leona Lewis’ new single ‘Happy.’

The music mogul, says that he played the song on repeat and described the track as ‘genius.’

“I remember where I was when I heard the song for the first time. I remember it starting and sitting up in my chair praying that the chorus was going to deliver on what I’d heard,” he told ET Online.

“As soon as it hit the chorus, I turned it off, got [Leona] on the phone and said, ‘This song is genius’. I couldn’t stop playing it.

“When my friends came over from London it must have been on repeat about 25 times. All these people just falling in love with this record. I’d never seen a reaction like that before.”
