It's just that some of the newspapers have got the story wrong. You are right there are lower paid people in the country so the wages these contestants are receiving by comparison is fantastic. Besides, this all of the contestants are doing something that they really want to do. I personally don't see how anyone could say they were being paid a pittance when literally hundreds of thousands will be trying to get into their boots for the X factor 2009. Maureen Newcastle.
