Simon Cowell shocked by Stephen Gately’s death
Simon Cowell has admitted that he was shocked by the sudden death of Stephen Gately.
Gately was found dead in Majorca last week and was buried on Saturday.
Cowell told the Daily Star: “I was shocked about Stephen. He was a charming, polite young man not affected by fame.”
He continued: “It’s made me realise not to take life too seriously. You never know what’s round the corner.”
On Leona Lewis’ attack at a recent book signing Cowell said: “I was stunned anyone would want to attack her. We need to make sure she is protected.”

Simon is right it does make you realise how precious life is and you never know how long you may have in this world. The attack on Leona was disgusting and has really knocked her confidence, I hope she gets better protection.
