Simon Cowell is rumoured to be interested in buying his BBC One rival TV show, Strictly Come Dancing.

The show has been named the most popular in the world and has seen the right’s sold to countries all over the world.

Strictly judge, Bruno Tonioli said that Simon would love to get his hands on the show and told the Sunday Express:

“Simon wants to buy it. He loves it. If ever the BBC wanted to get rid of Strictly, he would want to do it. He is a smart guy and recognises when something is good.

“You can’t knock the show that is the biggest seller and is actually beating his shows all over the world. Strictly is a phenomenon. He would like to have it in his stable.”
