Simon Cowell wants Cheryl Cole back as X Factor judge
Simon Cowell has admitted that he would have Cheryl Cole back on the UK X Factor version if she wanted to return.
The former Girls Aloud star left the ITV show last year, to take up a job on the US version. However she and Simon later fell out, after he sacked her from the new series after only a few audition dates.
Cowell has now heaped praise on his one time protege, for how ‘grown-up’ she was over the whole furore and told The Sun:
“She is a grown-up and she understands that in this business when something happens it happens publicly.”
“That wasn’t a great week for me. When I came back last year I was public enemy number one, and I wouldn’t want to go through that again.”
When asked if he would work with Cole again, Cowell insisted:
“She could be a panellist again if she wanted to – 100%. I don’t know if she would. I think she probably misses me.”

hell no, why does he insist on shoving this talentless hack on the great british public, i certainly cannot stand her, the x factor was not great last year but it was not because she wasn’t on the panel, i’d love it if she did go back and ratings dropped even more, maybe that would finally send him the message, and why all this talk of cheryl returning, why not dannii? bring back dannii simon

We need someone to fill the Kelly role, which Dannii originally had and even founded on X factor, of giving precise techincal advice and critique and rising above the bitter battle between the other judges.
The Panel should be
Paul Mcartney-Simon or Gary -Overs
MelC – Kelly or Dannie -Groups
Tulisa- Girls
Robbie Williams-Louis-Boys
I don’t want either Cheryl OR Dannii – bring back Sharon and have the panel back to just her, Simon and Louis. It was bringing Minogue & Cole in as the show ponies that made the X Factor all about the judges and not the contestants.
I think both Cheryl and Dannii should come back.
