News has emerged today that despite angering Simon Cowell – and the rest of the bosses over at the X Factor – singer (and kind of a hanger on) Sinitta hasn’t been fired, and will be in this year’s show after all.

The hoohar started after details of the show’s Wild Card twist were revealed on Sinitta’s website.

Cowell was apparently fuming with her as it seems she’d decided to set up unofficial auditions on the site without the permission of the show’s bosses.

It was then reported that he’d fired his long-standing friend, but The Sun today reports that she’s still to feature on the show since she’s now removed “all references” to the X Factor from her site.

A show insider told the paper, “It all got a bit out of hand but it’s over now.

“She’s still set to work with Simon at the judges’ house stage.”
