It seems as though 80’s popstar, Sinitta, has become Simon Cowell’s official spokesperson of late.

With all the interviews she is giving at the minute, it seems like Simon can’t even take a toilet break without Sinitta selling the story to Hello!

This time Sinitta has spilled the beans on Simon Cowell’s break up with long term girlfriend, Terri Seymour. She revealed that it didn’t happen as recently as we may have been led to believe.

“In actual fact, they split up several months ago, at the start of the year, but it was a private matter and everyone who was aware of the situation respected that,” Sinitta told Hello.

Sinitta said that she and Simon split up for the same reasons as Terri.

“Simon and I were together for 20 years, on and off, and I always thought we would get married. But I started to notice that every time I mentioned wanting a baby, he would go quiet or buy me a dog. One day he came out with it, that he didn’t ever see himself wanting children of his own,” she said.

She added that her relationship with Simon was hard to define.

“People are always asking us to define our relationship. I’m asked, ‘Is it like brother and sister?’ and I think, ‘Well, yes, there are elements of that, but then we were lovers on and off for 20 years, so that’s not really appropriate’. Simon describes it best. He says, ‘It’s just us’. I like that – I think that sums us up perfectly.”
