The X Factor team have found themselves in a bit of a quandary today.
Frankie Cocozza was sensationally axedfrom the ITV show this morning, having broken a so called ‘golden rule’ and officials working on the ITV show have told us that they will be making an announcement tomorrow about how his exit will affect Saturday’s show.

The problem is that after last week’s double elimination and now Frankie’s departure, there are more live shows left on the series than contestants.
The team will therefore be faced with a few choices. They could either cancel one of the weekly eliminations and have one week where the contestants perform but no one is sent home, or they could bring back an act that was previously voted off the show.
The obvious choice would be Johnny Robinson or The Risk, as both acts made it as far as week five, before being eliminated on Sunday.
The Risk received the least public votes of the weekend, so technically it should be Johnny making a comeback, but since when is The X Factor that fair?
Rumours surrounding Johnny have picked up, since it was revealed that all his press interviews for this week have been cancelled and he has gone exceptionally quiet on Twitter.
The show could also hold a vote, asking viewers to vote an act back in – as Big Brother has done on occasion – meaning that singers such as Sami Brookes, Nu Vibe, Amelia Lily and Sophie Habibis would have a chance of returning to the competition.
We can’t wait to find out what X Factor bosses will decide and we can’t help but think that Simon Cowell deserves this most recent headache, after giving Frankie permission to behave like a ‘diva’ during a recent telephone conversation.

I definatley think Johnny should come back, but I think the option of voting back in a contestant is a really good idea too!
bring the risk back as they are good singers and the most shock result of the series and did not deserve to be eliminated so early in the competition and they have the potential to go far and I would buy their record, more than i would johnny’s as johnny is good but not as good of the risk,

It doesn’t matter if The Risk were better than Johnny is. The fact is The Risk got lesser votes than Johnny, so it’s Johnny who should come back. It wouldn’t be fair if The Risk replaced Frankie.

I think frankie leaving is a publisity stunt as when the risk left everyone said they werent going to watch x factor again so i think they are trying to gain those viewers but the risk were the fav too win they have more of a chance and they want it more! Come on the risk;-)<3!

You can’t bring the risk back over johnny. Johnny is the next in line to come back. The risk were the least popular so are out fair and square if they went on to win whoever comes second would feel majorly cheated.

Slight correction, there are 6 acts left and 6 live shows, 5 of which are elimination shows. To avoid a final with only 2 contestants there will need to be more than one week where no one is eliminated.
Here’s the plan, this week invite the 9 eliminated acts back, this includes the 4 eliminated week 1, and allow public to put 1 back in.
That means the next week there will be 7 acts with only 5 shows left, 4 eliminations meaning a final of 3 which is standard

Johnny should come back. We’re not all teeny boppers who want to watch the program and that is what the Risk cater for. Johnny is lovely and can sing, and although I don’t think he should win, he should certainly make it through to the top five. Other unconventional acts have made it in show business so it’s not fair to say he’d never get anywhere. The Risk are just another teeny bopper boy band and are nothing special. I look forward to Johnny’s performance as well as Kitty, Misha B and Janet Develin. I also quite like Little Mix. They all have something special eg the X Factor. I can’t remember the other acts. That should say something.
I think the public should be aloud to vote between the risk and johnny on who they want back on the show. I think Simon needs to give something back to supporters of the show as this year has not gone well in my opinion

Do u know what would be really controversial the boy in the risk who they keep saying should be the lead singer (sorry don’t know their names) If they asked him to leave the risk and come back as a solo singer and join Gary’s team – NOW THAT WOULD BE CONTROVERSIAL!!! Not only would he be leaving his band mates (because he did originally enter as a solo singer) but he would also shift from Tulisa’s groups into Gary’s boy’s team. Can you imagine it, would make for interesting viewing. Although I agree with others they should have a vote to bring back evictees from this series. Hmm wonder what’s gonna happen. Glad Frankie has gone though!!!

In my opinion, I think the remaining contestants should sing without elimination as it would be unfair to other contestants. Franky getting axed off the xfactor show or competition shouldn’t give to call one of the recently/previously eliminated contestants back to the show. None of the remaining acts has/would ever had/have that second. Xfactor bosses, summon a meeing and let the show continues. Thinking about it, you may may be thinking that it is another way to boost up the viewing rate. Frankly speaking, if one of you bosses or judges were to be in any of this remaining acts/contestants shoes, would you welch/appreciate that kind of decision? Let the show move on, think of other programs to slot in between, I mean something interesting to entertain the public or move on with the weekly eliminations.
It will be unfair to the remaining acts.This is a competition and not a tv game. Put yourselves in their shoes, would be happy,knowing that you’re couple of steps away in a fight from being crowned a winner of singing competition and all they could do was to bring in previously eliminated act back on the show, all in the name of replacing an act that broke the golden rule of the competition. Xfactor, get on with the show and either find something to entertain the public with and give them a week off voting or you continue with the weekly elimination process till you come up with a good idea/program to slot in before the final week.

i think all the acts that have been booted out should be given a chance to come back. there won’t be enough time having them all back to sing for a vote in, so they should just put it up on screen tomorrow night for voting, and have one of them come back sunday night.
