Steve Brookstein Says “Don’t Vote On X Factor!”

Former X Factor winner, Steve Brookstein has urged people not to waste their money by voting on the the ITV TV show.

Steve told BBC Radio 5 Live: “It is sad that there are going to be people who are going to be publicly humiliated. It is a form of bear-baiting.

“I’ve been banging the drum about what it’s about – people shouldn’t call in and they shouldn’t waste their money.”

Steve was dropped by Sony BMG after his first album, and this sounds like a bit of sour grapes to me!

not sour grapes at all, as the whole debacle of the latest, and worst ever, X-Factor has shown [for those who actually like real, not manufacturered, talent]

    to ‘Ben’
    ‘pub singer’?

shows how little you are informed on the subject

I decided against my better judgement to Audition for the x-factor and to actually call this farce an audition in the first place is beyond me. I am ashamed to have been part of it. It took a long shower and many days in a happy place to get over it. Did I not get through because of my lack of talent? Who knows, the Jewish 80 year old Elvis impersonator managed to sail through.
