Former X Factor winner Steve Brookstein has claimed that the show is feeding the public a lot of ‘bullcrap.’

Steve was commenting on Simon Cowell’s apparent switch of allegiance from Danyl to Joe on recent shows. He is sure that it is a ploy of some kind and that Danyl will manage a last minute miracle and win the public over once more. However if it doesn’t work, Steve says that Simon will take credit for Joe’s success regardless.

Steve also commented on Simon’s new world domination and in his blog post ‘Give Some To Daddy’ he said;

The X Factor is a controlled well oiled machine that is now going to conquer the USA. The fact it is just American Idol rebranded has totally been over looked. But you don’t care – You love it! You don’t know why – but you care about the judges and the short lived stars and you’ll spend, spend, and spend on phone votes and just when you start to realise that you are been force fed bullcrap, it’s ok – ‘give some to daddy?’
