Strictly Come Dancing and X Factor for same time slot……which will you watch?

BBC bosses have shifted this years series of Strictly Come Dancing so that it overlaps with ITV’s X Factor.
Last year Strictly aired around 6.30pm, but suffered a drop in ratings because of the early time slot. This year bosses have shifted the show to 7.25pm, just 25 minutes before the X Factor kicks off. In all both shows will overlap for 65 minutes.
ITV bosses are furious, though that’s to be expected. A source told The Mirror:
“It’s a slap in the face for Saturday night viewers” and added: “The shows appeal to the same audience.”
However a BBC source contended that Strictly was live and had to fit between kids’ shows and Match of the Day. However the X Factor is pre-recorded (during audition stages) and could be easily moved.
So what will you be watching? Our plan is to record both shows, watch Strictly until X Factor starts and the judges have all made their grand entrances, then switch over to ITV, catching up with the BBC dance extravaganza later. But for those of you without Sky+, what show will you choose?

Strictly, definitely. I have no interest in the X Factor.
Wow, really? I don’t get how someone couldn’t love X Factor.
Definitely X Factor!!!!!
Hey guys,
I would watch X Factor,
but im actually doing some research on reality TV..
If anyone can reply back just answering and explaining your views on reality TV and why you think people cant get enough of it, I would really appreciate it. Thanks.
I will be watching X-Factor. I don’t understand why the TV
Companies have to go head to head like this because it does
not actually prove that one programme is more popular than
the other as people will watch one and record the other.
X-factor! Deffo! But you can always catch up on X-factor-just in case on itv2+1 on sunday.
it sucks that both shows will be @ the same time!
[...] week, the BBC admitted that they would be scheduling Strictly to air at the same time as ITV’s X [...]
How about putting the license fee payers first???
Can I have my money back please ?
