Do you think the stage was full of genuine emotion tonight or were the contestants all given lessons in how to cry the most convincing crocodile tears?

I can understand Andys upset when Simon mentioned his mum, but Shayne’s tears looked contrived and I think the poor Shayne wanting to give his mum a better life story is wearing a bit thin.

Every clip and piece of VT tonight was carefully scripted to tug at the heart strings, so much so that I felt slightly manipulated by the end of the show. The question is, will the public vote for the saddest story or the act with the most talent. Watch this space!!
