As we reported yesterday, former X Factor judge Cheryl Cole is apparently dating dancer Tre Holloway, however, his worried mum has today revealed that she’s worried that her son may end up broken hearted.

Tre’s mum Shirley told TV Biz that her son has never been married, and because Cheryl has – and subsequently divorced when she tired of Ashley Cole’s cheating on her – she thinks perhaps her son isn’t as worldly wise as Cheryl.

She said, “She might hurt him. She’s been married before.”

And while discussing how Ashley had allegedly had several affairs during his marriage to Cheryl, Shirley reckons her son would never behave like that.

She said, “He wouldn’t do that. That’s not him…

“He has dated in the past in college and high school but it was nothing serious.”

The paper adds, “She was stunned seeing yesterday’s exclusive in The Sun showing Tre leaving a restaurant in London with Cheryl, 29.”

Shirley went on to say, “I don’t know Cheryl. I’ve only seen pictures on the internet.

“Tre said she was pretty big (in the UK). He’s been dancing for her for a couple of years now, I think.”

“He mentioned that one day last month they went somewhere…

“He never said she was his girlfriend. But he said, ‘Oh, she likes me’. I got the feeling he was maybe quite into her.

“Of course I’m curious to meet her. If this is a serious relationship then I’m looking forward to meeting her because I trust Tre’s judgment.

“If he likes her, then she must be a good person.”

And it seems that Cheryl’s mum Joan Tweedy and her brother Garry have also given their blessing to the new romance.

A source said, “Joan and Garry are happy she’s met someone she thinks is great. They’re hoping to meet him this month.”

Whilst it is of course lovely that Tre’s mum worries about him, I wonder just how much he wants to crawl up his own jacksy and stay there right now, given that Shirley has made it public knowledge that her son hasn’t had many girlfriends…
