We are glad to see that the 17 year old singing sensation Trevor Hodgson won’t be shying away from attention and publicity after narrowly missing the chance to make it through to the X factor’s final 12.

Although the contract signed by the youngster prevents him from performing publicly at the minute, he has been booked to switch on Rochdale’s christmas lights on November the 12th.

Trevor is just chuffed with all the attention he has been receiving since leaving the competition. “It’s been great doing interviews and I’ve even been asked to turn on Rochdale’s Christmas lights,” he says. “That wouldn’t have happened if I hadn’t appeared on X Factor, it’s just been brilliant.”
