Tulisa begs X Factor bosses to reveal new judge
Tulisa, Gary Barlow and Louis Walsh have all been confirmed for the new series, the auditions for which begin filming on May 23, with the final seat left vacant by Kelly Rowland after a ping-pong tournaments worth of reports saying she is coming back, then she isn’t, over the last few months, with reports finally confirming yesterday that she is in deed NOT returning to the show.
Whilst boss’s at ITV are keeping very tight-lipped, the name on everyone’s lips seems to be Dannii Minogue, the former X Factor judge before the US version launched, whilst other names such as Mel B and Katy Perry have also been banded around a fair bit.
But, like a school girl anxious to know her new teacher, Tulisa, it seems can hardly bear the excitement and has actually begged bosses to reveal to her who she will be sat next to in the next series.
“We’re just waiting to find out who the fourth person is, but they won’t tell me because they know that everyone is going to ask me and I don’t want to lie,” Tulisa admitted.
Adding: “I’ve been ringing up the producers going ‘Who is it, Who is it’ and they’re like ‘Tulisa, you know we can’t tell you that’, and I’m like ‘Come, on please’.”
The N-Dubz singer then went on to say: “I don’t even know if they’re 100% sure yet who they are going for.”
Previous statements from an X Factor representative has said that the announcement regarding the official and final judging panel would come “in due course”.
Auditions for this years X Factor begin filming in Liverpool on May 23.
