VW Brown has hit out at reality TV shows like Britains Got Talent and X Factor and their effect on the music business.

Speaking to Metro VW Brown said that if she entered she may well come across as the next Susan Boyle.

VV Brown said: “I’d probably dress really minging so people would judge me and then I’d sing and get 20 million hits. It all depends. I think I’d get a shot of getting into the finals.

“I think these reality TV contests are slightly ruining music. They’re making quick fix positions where people just invest in a moment rather than an artist’s career which has a lot more depth.”

She also said that hopes Susan Boyle doesn’t have a makeover, because “you’re cool when you be yourself”.

“When you try not to be who you are, you’re not fashionable. Screw everyone else. I think she looks fine. I don’t know why everyone was picking on her in the first place,” she added.
