They may have been ridiculed during their time on The X Factor, but it looks like Jedward are having the last laugh.

The pair have been inundated with offers since leaving the singing show and their latest venture is a remake of the iconic Shake ‘n’ Vac advert. As they arrived to record the famous jingle yesterday, the boys posed for pictures outside a London recording studio and even sprinkled some of the carpet freshener on the ground for the waiting crowd.

John told waiting journalists:

“It’s a lot of fun. That’s what we are all about.”

Edward added: “When we were younger we had five dogs and we would let them in the house and it would smell bad and then we would use Shake n’ Vac and it would make the carpet smell nice.”

On leaving the studios Jedward too to their Twitter page to say:

“so everyone we are still doing stuff for shake n vac having fun it was fun meeting all the fans outside dean street studios”
