Niall Horan went down a storm in Dublin’s O2 Arena this week, when he performed with his boyband One Direction.
The Irish star hit the stage with his bandmates Louis Tomlinson, Liam Payne, Zayn Malik and Harry Styles for two concerts in the city this week and we think it’s fair to say that fans were glad to have him home.
The band were greeted each day by hundreds of Directioners waiting at the arena for them to arrive, but onlookers say most of the posters, banners and t-shirts were dedicated to our favourite little blonde singer.
In the video clip below you can hear just how enthusiastic the fans are to be in the same building as Horan and although the girls cheer for all the band members, when Niall takes on his solo during Little Things, the audience drowns out every word with their screams.
Later in the night Nialler took the chance to whip the crowd into a frenzy and had them all chanting the name of his hometown ‘Mullingar’ between songs.
We don’t know if Harry Styles was feeling a little jealous, or if he just wanted to show off his linguistic skills, but he put on an Irish accent for much of the show. He’s had plenty of time to master it by now, having lived with Niall on and off for the last two years.
Haz raved about the show on Twitter afterwards and posted:
“Thank you Dublin! Crowd was amazing since we’ve been here, thanks for having us .xx”
He replied to a fan adding:
“I’m good, little tired.. Show was great last night thanks .x”
After Niall came off stage, he added:
“I love my job! And on that note , I’m goin t sleep”
The One Direction boys move to Northern Ireland today, for a number of shows in Belfast’s Odyssey Arena.
