The X Factor final 12 took to the stage on tonight’s results show and performed a pretty decent version of the Black Eyed Pea’s ‘I Gotta Feeling.’

The over 25′s started well, Jamie Afro in particular was extremely engaging, though Danyl Johnson’s vocals were a little shaky and in the words of Randy Jackson, pitchy. I loved watching Lucie Jones attempt to be a little more edgy and dare I say it, John and Edward Grimes were actually quite good at the rap sections.

I kind of like this attempt to make X Factor more like American Idol, it’s all so glitzy and glam and fabulous. Somehow it doesn’t matter that I no longer have any sort of social life at the weekend.
