Who’s Who in the final 12

Louis’ Group: 16-25

Nicholas Dorsett: An 18 year old from Enfield, you’ll have seen him sing ‘You Make Me Feel Brand New’ by The Stylistics at Louis’ penthouse in last weeks show. he is commonly compared to Craig David.

Shayne Ward: A 20 year old sales assistant from Manchester. Shayne seems to have an all round appeal, looks, talent and personality to go with it.

Chenai Zinyuku: A 19 year old office receptionist from Bradford in Leeds. Chenai has been compared to Alicia Keys but would class herself as more of a Gladys Knight fan. You’ll have seen her sing I’m Still Waiting’ by Diana Ross at Louis’ penthouse in last weeks show.

Phillip Magee: Northern Irelands one entry! The 21 year old Elvis fan sang ‘Don’t Forget to Remember’ by the Bee Gees at Louis Dublin pad. He’ll definitely get the granny vote!

Sharons Group: 25+

Andy Abraham: Enfields second entry! The 40 year old bin man is down to earth and unassuming yet his voice has the power to blow you away. He was seen in last weeks show singing ‘Walk on By’ by Dionne Warwick at Sharon Osbourne’s Beverly Hills mansion.

Brenda Edwards: a 36 year old accounts manager from London, Brenda just happened to enter the X Factor competition by chance as she enjoyed a weekend break in The Hilton Hotel, Belfast and noticed that auditions were being held downstairs! Brenda livened up saturdays show by swinging her stuff and belting out ‘I Just Wanna Make Love to You’ by Etta James at Sharon’s impromtu concert.

Chico Slimani: A stripper and dancer currently living in London, Chico has got this far more on sex appeal than on the strength of his voice. He tried to liven up the show at Sharon’s home by jumping into a pool of water while dancing with a live microphone.

Maria Lawson: A 30 year old property developer from London, Maria wanted to be in the X Factor finals so badly that she postponed her honeymoon in order to fly to Sharons home in Beverly Hills. Her rendition of Kelly Clarksons ‘Since You’ve Been Gone’ was enough to earn her a place in sharon’s final 4.

Simons Group: Groups

Addictive Ladies: 4 A level students from East London, these girls have shown a lot of spunk in the series to date. They are Fleur East (17), Stephanie Yamson (17), Vivienne Umeh (17) and Nicola Owufu-Akontoh (16).

4Tune: This Southhampton group must have been more nervous than most when faced with Simons decision on his final four acts. Memories of how they got dropped at this stage of the competition last year must have came flooding back. But luckily the boys: Simon Vitsaides (22), Mike Hannides (21), Philip Kemish (21) and Anthony Hannides (18), were more lucky this year and will be appearing in the live shows starting this week.

The Conway Sisters: Billed as ‘The New Corrs” these four sisters are no strangers to live performances. In fact they have supported Westlife in past tours and even sang at the Shane from the bands wedding. From Sligo in Ireland, they are: Sinead (23), Sharon (28), Marie (21) and blonde Laura (18).

Journey South: The Pemberton Brothers musician Carl (24) and electrical engineer Andrew (29) have been performing together for years, and are reportedly £20,000 in debt due to chasing their dream of making it in the music industry. The brothers were ecstatic at making it through to Simons final 4 and believed that they had just given him the performance of their lives…so far!
