Mel B has been playing coy and refusing to answer questions on whether she will be joining the X Factor judging panel this year.

The singer is rumoured to be taking over from Australian judge, Dannii Minogue, who was reported to be expecting her first baby last week but has since denied the claims.

However, Mel refused to commit when asked about the show and said that it’s “something I can’t talk about”.

Speaking to Hello, the singer added: “That’s funny! Who knows what’s going to happen? We’ll see. That’s something I can’t talk about.”

She added: “I think the show’s great. I’ve seen Simon (Cowell) a few times. I think he’s an amazing businessman. And I’ve met Cheryl (Cole) a few times. She’s a really lovely lady.”
