X Factor bosses are to use Big Brother style, fly on the wall, footage for their new Sunday night results show.

Executive producer Richard Holloway told the Daily Mirror that the hour long TV show will feature backstage footage from the previous 24 hours as well as celebrity performances, the results and the sing-off.

He said: “You will see the singers’ reactions and what their mentors say and how they think performances went.

“We will show them in the house and have all the gossip.”

Holloway also revealed that ITV2’s Xtra Factor spin-off show will be chock full of new “interactive” content.

He added: “We’re tweaking it to make it more inclusive.

“It’ll be more like sports shows where fans call in and give us their views live.”
