Scary news folks. Well, not Scary. If we’re going to talk about Spice Girls, it’s going to be Posh Spice.

According to the Manchester Evening News (and they know their stuff), the hot tip to replace Louis Walsh on next year’s X-Factor is none other than that bizarre mess of skeleton and silicone, Victoria Beckham. Apparently, Mr. Simon Cowell has already stoked the speculation with this comment:

I’d love to judge with Victoria. She is very witty and she can poke fun at herself.

Hmmmm. Old po-face? Poke fun at herself?

Anyway, it’s not the bad news it seems to be. If there’s anything positive in this, it implies that Cowell will be back next year, and I can’t wait to hear some of the put-downs he might have in store for the first lady of flop!
