This year is the first year that the competition has been opened for 14 and 15 year olds and 15 year old Dominic is hoping that with the change in rules his dream could be one step closer. “In school we were asked to write down where we wanted to be in five years time. And on the top of my list was to have a number one selling album and number one single and just to fulfil my dreams. Singing means everything to me and I’ve had so much support from all the family and I really want to do this for my Mum and my Nan”.

With all his family along for the support, they give Dominic a huge cheer as he walks through the doors to face the Judges. Singing Mack The Knife the Judges are blown away, “Wow, you are one talented young man” says a very impressed Simon, “For someone like you to come in, you look so hip, you’ve got great taste in music and you are your own person it really really refreshing” grins Sharon. “I love your voice but also I love your body language and the way you move, it’s so great to watch” says Dannii. He’s obviously bowled the Judges over here’s hoping he’s running into his family’s arms with good news and on the way to start fulfilling his dream of becoming a professional singer.
