X Factor 2006: Ben Mills Is Backing Leona Lewis To Win
X Factor finalist Ben Mills, has revealed that he believes fellow finalist, Leona Lewis, will win the show.
He told Star magazine: “I don’t think the show’s been fixed in favour of Leona but I think she will probably win.”
Ben is convinced that the public are bored of him.
He said: “I think people are a bit fed up of seeing me with a piano, and I got really attached to having it on stage with me.
“Before I almost went out, I would have said I had a good chance of winning, but this contest isn’t just about singing, it’s also about everything surrounding you, and how you come across.
“I’m not an actor, and I won’t be something I’m not.”

I,to use a SIMON COWELL phrase dont get this one BEN, He started the ‘rig’ thing on Leona since a talk with Simon and the producers he has backtracked, however, his mentor Sharon raised near the same issue on Saturday, Integrity is a great thing, stand by what you believe and dont let others make you back down ‘IF’ you believe you are right, I wonder what would be being said now had Simon put Ben out the contest instead of ETON ROAD, I doubt the backtracking would be then evidemnt. Good luck to all 3 but I want Ben or Ray to win,however, Ive little doubt Leona will win and for the wrong reasons despite her great talent.Or is the majority of people and acts on x factor so full of their own hype that they think the public are all daft,so say anything for publicity and to cover losing at any particular time,I still have my doubts which actually in the main, Bens satements were what really planted them in me,Rod,Newcastle

After everything considered I would like Ray to win.
Leona will get a contract from Simon regardless of her winning or not.
Ben will also be offered something, but more on his terms.
That why I now want Ray to win because he has got the personality to say ‘what ever’. He is extremely likeable and after that performance on Saturday he deserves to win.
And all this analysis and Simon’s pr machine would crash and burn. Matt Willis won I’m a celebrity and he was never a favorite so I really think Ray will now win, and good luck to him.

It will be interesting to see what Simon has Ray do this week wont it BIGNIKKIFAN, I dont know what the structure is for this week,I think Sharon will have a plan for Ben should he lose, as you say Leona will be snapped up by Simon, he’ll have to after all he’s said.I just wonder what would be best for Ray but after My Way last week he must have won masses over and I have no doubt the ETON votes would go to him.Ray totally surprised me last week in the very best way,he was excellent. Leona has to win she is like a proffesional singer already the only reason peole want ray to win is because hes young and cute.Ilike ray he a good singer but he just doesnt have the X Factor and Leona u do come o Leonna u r the best.

I have since week 3 wanted anyone to win x factor 2006 other than Leona, So I hope the army of fans on merseyside and his appeal to wider areas as well bring a win for Ray.At least he’s tried doing something different not just ballads and every one sung the same way like Leona has, For his My Way performance alone Ray should win it.Rod.

I know what you mean about Leona. She just doesn’t seem to have it. Last years show there was Brenda and Maria and they had great personalities to go with their great voices. I voted for Maria and was shocked that she was voted out.
Leona just seems to lack something, even though she does come across as a very nice girl but she needs to lighten up and have some fun.
I dont think she will win, thats my opinion. Ray is extremely popular with the young girls and probably many Ben fans will vote for him as well.
