X Factor 2006 Bootcamp Is Toughest Yet!
X Factor bootcamp is underway, and one X factor hopeful, Ian Faulker says the competition is tougher than ever!
He said: “When we got down to boot camp they said sing us a song by The Beatles. But luckily for me, with the repertoire that I have, I could knock one out but we will see.”
Although the contestants haven’t yet been told which group each judge will be mentoring, Ian knows the choice of mentor could affect his chances.
He said: “Simon said I haven’t quite got it. He is right because look at me I’m never going to sell millions of albums.
“But when Louis said ‘you’re through’ it was fantastic and definitely emotional.”

They can hardly say it is the weakest bootcamp ever can they.
I woud believe it was really tough if they decided not to have a certain quota of people in each group.
Once you have quotas you may possible have to put people through who are below standard to make up the numbers in one group and reject people in another because the standard is much higher in that group.
The standard in the groups last year was lower than the under 25’s, which was a shame. so under 25’s who were excellent were sent home and certain groups got through who were not so good.
carrianne : I dont think people are complaining, they are toldby the producers its tough as it adds to the excitement of the show.
Sadly, I think Simon is right as he is being realistic about a longterm recording career as opposed to being popular in the show, getting your face on the front cover of mags for a short while, thinking you are a star and then having no music career at all.
