X Factor 2006: Leona Lewis, Career Before Marriage

Leona Lewis has revealed that her music career is the most important thing in her life right now, and marriage will just have to wait!

Leona has been dating her boyfriend Lou Al-Chama for four years.

She told New! magazine: “We want to see how our careers develop before we think about getting married. I won’t marry until my career is established.

“He’s been really supportive and knows how much I want this.”

“I speak to Lou every day. It’s thanks to him that I’m in the X Factor,” she smiled.

“This was always my dream but I kept missing the auditions for the show. Then, one day, Lou applied for a bit of fun, and made me apply too.”
