X Factor finalist Daniel De Bourg has been branded a liar by the mother of his three year old son, who feels that he is using Theron to boost his TV career.

Theron’s mother, Rachel told The News Of The World:

“I’m livid! Daniel wanted me to get rid of our baby when I told him I was pregnant,” Rachel told the News of the World. “And for almost three years he did nothing to help me. I had to work my a*** off to bring up Theron without him.

“But now he’s trying to portray himself as a caring single dad and paint a halo over himself. He has no right to use my son to boost his TV career.”

She continued: “It’s only recently that Daniel walked back into our lives and I told him, ‘You’re a part-time dad.’ Now he’s told all these lies, it’s fuelled my anger even more.”

Rachel’s brother Ed added: “I’m convinced he is just using Theron to promote his public image. Rachel didn’t want the boy to go on the telly but Dan even went behind her back and used him in the filming.

“My sister was livid. After two years of ignoring her child Dan went on TV to proclaim himself the caring dad and rubbed her out of the whole equation.”
