X Factor 2008: Alan Turner Lying???
Any of you that watched last Saturday’s X Factor show will have seen handsome hopeful, Alan Turner, turn on the waterworks claiming he was fostered as a child and didn’t know his real family.
Well his dad has spoken out today and claimed that Alan has been telling a few porkies in order to tug at our heartstrings!
‘He must come clean. It’s all a lie. He has not been fostered,’ said Alan senior to the Daily Mirror.
‘I only spoke to him five weeks ago. He’s made himself look a bit of a clot.’
In fact Alan’s dad claimed that the lady who accompanied him to the auditions was not as he claimed his foster mum but in fact his grandmother.
‘She was the lady on the TV with him, not his foster parent as it said,’ says Alan senior.
Alan’s uncle Shaun Stanfield has also spoken out, saying: ‘His mam and dad have always been there for him. He’s invented this sob story just to dupe the judges into putting him through.’

That is awful, its insulting to his family and insulting to people in foster care who now think that people feel sorry for him. I think he has blown his chances big time.

Alan Turner might have good reason. He really looked insecure. Give the guy a break he CAN sing and LOOKS the part. As for Danni I think she looks a bit tight! And Simon looks so old! Cherl is running the show alone!!! and doing a good job!

In other reports, it has come out that the “grandmother” is not a biological relation, but his mother’s foster parent, who took over his care when he was 4. It could be that the father is trying to cash in. He may have been told to simplify his story….
Always look for the other side of the story….theres always two sides
