X Factor 2008: Simon Cowell And ITV Clash Over Sunday Results Show
Simon Cowell and ITV are locking horns as we speak about the all new X Factor Sunday night results show.
Simon wants the show to go out live on the Sunday night, while ITV want to save themselves £500,000 per week by pre-recording it after the main show on Saturday night.
A show insider told The Sun: “We can see it from both sides. Of course, it’s going to look better live. With the X Factor, anything can happen — that’s the beauty of the show.
“The rumour is now that it will either go live on Sundays or stay as a Saturday show.”

I Agree With Simon.
The Show Will Be Much Better If It IS Filmed

If Simon is contemplating a Sunday night show instead of a Saturaday night show is it possible the show is losing in popularity and he has though of a way to reduce costs in the process.
Logistically if you haven’t got the viewers and can’t turn out a mega selling star why spend the money. Economise seems like a good idea, no sense in throwing money away even if you have got plenty.
The money saved could go into a community music pot for a choir or gospel group.
