X Factor 2008: Simon Cowell Enjoying Auditions Without Sharon Osbourne
X Factor judge, Simon Cowell, is said to be enjoying a more relaxed set of auditions this year, now that Sharon Osbourne has left the show.
An insider told The Mirror: “Simon is much more relaxed and happier. He actually seemed to be enjoying the auditions, which is amazing considering how many he sits through.
“One day he was even cracking jokes. He had the production crew in stitches and that doesn’t happen every day.”

I’ve noticed Simon getting more relaxed and almost friendly over the years. He’s been moving beyond his Mr Nasty role almost as if he’s moving toward being a nicer kind of judge.
Not sure Sharon leaving has resulted in this, but the group dynamic may have changed among the judges, making him show a different side of his personality.
Simon has become more relaxed as the years have gone by. Sharon was the nasty judge last year. I’m glad that she has gone, hopefully it is for good.
i noticed that simon was a whole lot more relaxed with out sharon there.
i don’t think that sharon ahould be demanding for more money.
i have to admit thou the x factor was so much better this year than any other year.
i am actually thinking of auditioning in a few fears, when i am older.
