X Factor 2008: Simon Cowell Promises No Funny Business

X Factor boss, Simon Cowell has promised that voters can trust in the X Factor’s phone voting process, and assured the public that there will be no funny business or uinderhand tactics.

When asked how he could reassure viewers that they could trust the X Factor phone system, Cowell said that the ITV show came out “clean as a whistle” in an Ofcom investigation last year.

He added: “Our producers pride themselves on fairness. We have to trust producers and we have to have the public trust us.”
