In Birmingham, school caretaker Terry is hoping to put a smile on the Judges faces. Terry has a very sunny disposition, “I love my job, I look after the kids and they love my smile, and even the teachers will say how come you never stop smiling! And I say I can’t see anything to moan about”. If I get through today my smile will be huge.

Singing Louis Armstrong’s What a Wonderful World, in an almost convincing impression of the old maestro himself, the judges have giggle between them and after his performance Simon says “I be if I asked you for a second song it would be a Louis Armstrong number” and too prove him right Terry has a go with a second Louis Armstrong song Hello Dolly. “problem here” says Simon “Is that you are a Louis Armstrong impersonator, what would you do in ABBA week?” so Terry sings Dancing Queen, again in his Louis Armstrong voice to try and prove a point to Simon, sadly Simon is not impressed, ”If this was the “Louis Armstrong Factor” then you would win hands down”. But it doesn’t phase Terry and even their rejection can’t knock Terry’s smile from his face.
