The Sun has reported that Cheryl Cole has said she will leave The X Factor panel if Dannii Minogue is sacked this year.

Rumours have been circulating for months that Simon Cowell was planning to replace Dannii with someone who could actually do the job. However Cheryl is said to have told him that if he sacks Dannii then he will have two judges seats to fill.

A source said: “Cheryl told Simon straight – if it’s not her and Dannii together, then he’s looking for two new stars.

“There’s no way he will let them both go. The show was a bigger success than ever and Simon knows a lot of that is down to Cheryl.”

I do admire Cheryl for being so noble, but I kind of wish she’d kept her mouth shut. I’d love to see Dannii replaced with someone more fun!
