X Factor 2009: Danyl Johnson and Olly Murs give up on winning!

X Factor semi finalists Danyl Johnson and Olly Murs have reportedly given up on winning this year’s X Factor.
The pair are said to be struggling to learn the winner’s song, Hannah Montana’s The Climb and are convinced that Simon chose it for either Stacey Solomon or Joe McElderry.
A show source told The Sun: “Olly and Danyl have just given up on winning now. They have thrown in the towel.
“They hate the song so both of them just look defeated.
“They realise Simon now wants Joe and Stacey in the final based on the winner’s song as it only really suits them.”

The winner’s song is WHAT?! Simon has officially lost it! They shouldn’t give up (I hate Olly anyways) But I get what they mean – the song doesn’t suit them AT ALL. Oh my Goodness. -.-

“A show source” Yes! pull the other one! The same source that has been leaking all the other tip-bits of gossip and information right from the beginning! Well! I see no problem, no matter what the song is. Because, there is only one winner and, that happens to be Joe McElderry. He’s been the winner right from the start, how! you may ask? Simple, would be my reply! Joe has consistently performed to the highest level and developed his skills along the way. He already had the voice, which has been exalted from one end of the country to the other. And, his versatility knows no bounds. If at this stage, you’re still not too sure of what or whom I’m talking about, I suggest a quick look in on The X Factor site, check out Joe’s videos, you’ll be surprised!

cant say i’m a huge miley cyrus fan (what with my 10 year old being the one that is into hannah montanna) but i do actually like that song. That said tho since the winner’s song is destined for xmas no 1 it would be nice if it were an actuall christmas song like last christmas or something.
i have to add why would they give up because of the song?? simon has repeatedly said that he prefers his acts to sing songs that origionally sung by the opposite sex so it doesnt sound karoke. all sound like a load of mince to me to make people stop voting for stacey and joe!
What the hell. such a rubbish song choice…Blatantly chose that for stacey and joe.. what a load of crap… i want Olly to win.. but if thats the song choice, then i’d rather he didnt, and just made his own songs with another company….
Hi guys! I like the song ‘The Climb’! it will be very challenging for Joe and the lyrics are full of significant pointers for what lies ahead. Don’t be afraid of the unknown, it’s not always what it seems! Joe’s singing will be another triumph on his journey to his crown. To climb is to ascend to greater things! Joe will have many climbs and he will conquer many times!
the song is a good song and lets face it, if it wasnt for miley ‘hannah montana’ cyrus singing it, im sure a lot more people out there would like the song.
the lyrics are really significant and the final 4 could all relate to the song..danyl and olly shouldnt be complaining, they should be working on how to make the song theyre own and change it to suit them.

I loved danyl still even tho he has gone! It’s annoyed me why people are slagging off the climb it’s a brilliant song it has a meaning behind it and I fink if olly made an effort he would do it justice not as good as miley Cyrus tho hate joe so olly to win
