X Factor 2009: Judges categories announced!
Tonight’s X Factor was fun filled and excitement packed. Thankfully, we now we know who our final 24 are and what categories the judges got.

* Over 25’s: Simon Cowell – they ran to him like he was Jesus, but by the end of the series, he still won’t know their names.
* Under 25 Boys: Cheryl Cole – there was lots of gushing about how wonderful Cheryl is. But she doles out hugs like they were Smarties, so no wonder the boys are ecstatic.
* Groups: Louis Walsh – hilariously, boy band mastermind Louis has never won the show with a group. The groups pretended to be excited, but started secretly filling in application forms for Top Shop.
* Under 25 Girls: Dannii Minogue – the girls were ecstatic – if they play their cards right, they get to meet Kylie!!! But Dannii’s won it once before with chart wunderkind Leon Jackson, so the girls are all in good hands! Yay!

… Moving onto the over 25’s, it was Simon Cowell’s remark on hearing that he had got the job of mentoring them, “this could be a really good year for me , err I mean for them”, that leads me to suspect that there are going to be some clashes with his 6 stars. They’re already set in their ways at over 25, and if they don’t work with Cowell, he’ll be quick to talk them down in the shows. … Lucie Jones, an 18 year old student, is the girl I’d tip to top this category, and possibly the whole show
