The X Factor is due to go all 007 this year and reports suggest that the judges will zip up London’s River Thames in speed boats.

Last years debut episode saw the four judges all flying in to the first audition venue in black helicopters, this year Simon Cowell fancied playing the role of James Bond.

A source told the Daily Star : “In the past we’ve always had footage of the judges flying in on helicopters and arriving in limos.

“This year Simon wanted something fast and racy and so he chose to go all ’007′ and have everyone on speedboats.

“He’s so excited he’s already been snapped getting some practice sessions on the water.”

Now I am as keen as anyone to see Simon Cowell speeding up the Thames, cutting through the spray, looking as cool and composed as ever. But what would really float my boat is if someone managed to push Louis Walsh overboard.
