Ever since this years series of X Factor started, rumours have circulated that it would be Dannii Minogue’s last.

This weekend reports are circulatiing that former Take That singer, Robbie Williams may be about to step into her shoes in 2009.

A source close to Cowell, 49, told The Daily Star: “Robbie is perfect for the job and Simon is confident that he is going to get him to sign.

“Dannii has had a good couple of years on the show, but Simon wants to revamp the panel.

“Robbie’s cheeky attitude and success in the business make him the perfect candidate.”

Danni spent much of Saturday night’s show in tears after being accused by Louis Walsh of stealing JLS’ song. So maybe she won’t be too upset to hear that she is being replaced.
