X Factor 2009: Sunday Results Show Confirmed
A Sunday results show for this series of ITV’s X Factor has been confirmed.
Saturday will continue to be a showcase for the act’s performances whilst the results will be the centrepiece of a new peak time Sunday evening show, alongside performances from a range of special guest superstars. Both Saturday and Sunday’s The X Factor shows will be broadcast live, with viewers also having a greater opportunity to vote for their chosen act over the weekend.
Elaine Bedell said: “The X Factor just keeps getting bigger and better, with last year’s series breaking records as the most popular yet, so we’re delighted to be offering ITV1 viewers more of what they want. The new Sunday results show will be a fantastic way of building excitement and anticipation across two nights of live television and with performances from some extra special guest stars The X Factor will now be an event spectacular across the whole weekend.”

This is a terrible thing to do removing the peak time programmes of a Sunday that the viewers like to replace them with more of the X factor. Don’t get me wrong I like the X factor but I don’t want it on my screen of a Sunday.
So this looks like Sunday will see not only a repeat of everything from the Saturday plus some more bludgeoning ego’s of said judging panel but with the results tagged on to the end. If this is the case Maybe’s this season we should just get out more. Record the Sunday show and watch it at leisure.
If Simon is unable to make a decision (because of money that the twins bring to the programme) then change the rules and always go by the public vote only!!
Please don’t go on voting!!! Don’t give Simon more money!!
