X Factor 2010: Auditions return to Ireland!
John and Edward Grimes may have been the most irritating people ever but it would appear that something good has come from their appearance on ITV’s X Factor.
So massive was the support of the Irish people for the twins and the talent show, that bosses have decided to bring the auditions back to Ireland in 2010.
Unreality TV were at the last Belfast auditions in 2007 and whilst it may have been accused of having no talent (in fact as far as we remember, only some fat guy in a white suit got through to bootcamp), we definitely met some amazing singers there that day.
Sources have not yet confirmed whether auditions will take place in Dublin or Belfast, but you can apply here and venue details will be released at a later date.

Hello I was wondering if the application form too enter into the
x factor in Ireland/or UK is open too the republic of Ireland, because I am having difficulty in filling in the form, in Ireland we do not have a postal code for the republic, therefore my form will not go through because it demands a postal code.
I would be greatful for any information you can provide for me on my query.

u dont need a postal code as such, i live in dublin so my postal code is Dublin 15 !!

No I have’nt got a reply at all and I’m dying to find out as well, as like you I applied ages ago, so im really not sure what happens now, I hope they get back too us, I will obviously be so dissapointed if they don’t.
i checked out a few sites last night and it says u hear back around march so hopefully we do:) and i hope the auditions are in dublin effort of goin to belfast haha
Ah cool thanks, too be honest I have’nt really looked up that many sites about it.Ya I hope they are in Dublin as well it would be so handy. The drive too Belfast would be a pain. Have you applied for X factor before? this is my first time, as you can probably tell by the message.
