25 year old Fiona Robertson may face the sack from her job, after she called in sick to audition for the X Factor.

Fiona tried out for the show in Cardiff earlier this year but when bosses saw her picture in the paper, they realised that she had called in sick to work in order to be there.

She now faces disciplinary action in Wookey Hole Caves, Somerset, where she dresses up daily as The Wicked Witch from The Wizard of Oz.

Director Daniel Medley told The Sun:

“We feel we have been used and very let down that she used her fame here to further her career while still working for us.”

Fiona added: “I will apologise so hopefully I can keep my job.”

She even admitted that the lie hadn’t been worth telling, after the judges remained distinctly unimpressed by her audition.

She added: “The judges weren’t very impressed. I think the fact that I was dressed as a witch shocked them a bit.”
